This is a handwoven rug made in Lahore.

Featuring a bordeaux base, it intricately weaves traditional geometric patterns of Pakistani rugs.

The oval motifs arranged in the center are called "Bukhara patterns", inspired by elephant footprints, and are designed to look balanced from any angle, making it compatible with furniture and suitable for any space.

It is made from 100% New Zealand wool and crafted with a fine weave of "12/24", consisting of 12 warp threads and 24 weft threads per square inch, making it finer and more durable compared to regular Pakistani rugs.

With a timeless design, it blends well with any interior and can be cherished for a long time.

Features of Pakistani Rug

Due to its supple weave, it can be folded compactly for easy transport and storage.

Being made of wool, it has excellent heat retention, allowing for comfortable use over hot rugs or underfloor heating.

The pile has both regular and reverse directions, allowing you to enjoy variations in color by changing the laying direction.

What is Fine Quality

Fine quality refers to high-density Pakistani rugs that are woven with a higher density than regular Pakistani rugs.

Woven with 12 warp threads and 24 weft threads, it features a significantly finer weave compared to standard Pakistani rugs (9 threads x 16 threads).

Made from 100% New Zealand wool.

By trimming the pile short, it achieves a crisp texture and a clean appearance.

With a higher number of knots, it is less prone to trapping dirt and dust, making it durable and suitable for long-term use.

Additionally, the fine weave helps maintain the clarity of the patterns, allowing for delicate and intricate designs to be vividly expressed, which is a major characteristic of fine quality.

About the product

All of our rugs are unique pieces, carefully woven by artisans.

As they are also sold in our physical stores, they may be out of stock depending on the timing. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to lighting conditions during photography and your monitor settings, there may be differences in color appearance.

Maintenance

Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.

  • Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
  • If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
  • Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
