Jamshidi Atelier was founded in 1962 by Mohammad Jamshidi. He was born in Qom, Iran in 1947 and began learning about the Persian carpet industry at the age of 10. He established the workshop with the aim of producing extremely dense and delicate carpets using high-quality silk and adhering to traditional dyeing methods.

The workshop produces its carpets in the city of Qum, Iran, a region famous for the production of silk carpets, which are known for their exceptional quality.

Jamshidi Atelier's carpets are highly regarded in major countries such as the United States and Germany, and are loved by carpet lovers around the world for their beauty and quality.

Mohammad Jamshidi is known for using traditional vegetable dyes to dye silk carpets and for producing carpets with extremely high knot densities. Under his leadership, the Jamshidi atelier continues to produce carpets that are prized around the world.

Currently, the workshop is run by Mohammad Jamshidi and his sons.
