Classic Seirafian carpets
Old Seirafian carpets fetch high prices at auctions and on the high-end antiques market, especially those made by founders Hajj Agha Reza Seirafian and Mohammad Sadegh Seirafian, due to their historical value and artistic perfection.
The value of a particular design
Designs by Ahmad Archan and Haji Mosavar are particularly highly prized and carpets based on these designs often command top prices. For example, carpets depicting celebrations at the Safavid court and Gol-o-Borbol designs are known to be extremely expensive.
The Seirafian family has had a major influence on the Persian carpet industry for generations.
