This is a hand-knotted rug from Afghanistan.
On a bright wheat-colored background, a single elegant medallion is placed in the center. Surrounding motifs resembling vases filled with flowers are leisurely arranged, creating a gentle rhythm with brick red, sage green, and deep blue.
The same motifs are repeated around the outer edge, but the ample negative space prevents it from appearing heavy. The design generously showcases the patterns, making it blend naturally with wooden furniture and modern spaces alike.
With a sturdy pile, it can be confidently used under chairs or tables. This piece fits seamlessly with any flooring, from natural interiors to vintage furniture.
