This is a hand-woven silk carpet woven in the Kashmir region, located near the border between northern India and northeastern Pakistan.
While Persian silk carpets are brightly colored, Kashmiri carpets have a slight yellow tint overall and have a warm, vintage feel to them.
The elegant luster and smooth feel unique to silk further enhance the design and colors.
The weaving technique varies depending on the region of origin and the materials used, but the most common method is to tie the weft threads to the warp threads.

Please note the following points to keep the product in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient to maintain your carpet. Be sure to vacuum gently in the direction of the pile, avoiding the tufts.
- If you spill liquid, pat the surface with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture, but be careful not to rub.
- To maintain its color and luster, lightly wipe it in the direction of the fur with a tightly wrung towel once a year.
