This hand-knotted Persian Gabbeh, crafted in Shiraz, utilizes the finest quality wool, superior to standard Gabbeh, in a tightly woven style.
The design of this Gabbeh rug features stripes in varying shades of blue, each stripe showcasing a different hue of blue.
The base colors are a gradient of light blue and navy blue, incorporating a spectrum from bright sky blue to deep navy blue.
The design resembles tiled patterns, adorned with small motifs of animals and plants in various colors (white, red, black, yellow), with depictions of animals and trees of life intricately woven throughout.
These motifs reflect the characteristics of traditional Gabbeh craftsmanship, with each motif possessing a unique shape and style.

Features of Persian Gabbeh
Persian Gabbeh is a traditional rug woven by nomads living in southwestern Iran, characterized by its thickness and a fluffy texture reminiscent of petting sheep. It uses high-quality wool, making it soft and cushioned, providing comfort year-round as it is warm in winter and cool in summer.
What is Fine?
Fine is the highest quality Gabbeh created by the excellent weavers of the Qashqai tribe. It is characterized by a higher density than regular Gabbeh, featuring intricate designs due to its fine, high-density weave.
