This is a Persian Gabbeh from Shiraz.
Featuring a dark brown grid, small colored patches in red, mustard, and teal are arranged like a patchwork.
Each square displays different expressions of trees, animals, and zigzag patterns, while the plain sections create a pleasant balance.
The variations of brown running through the grid gently unify the diverse colors and patterns, adding a rustic charm characteristic of hand-knotted pieces.
Features of Persian Gabbeh
