This is a rug made from recycled textiles, carefully woven by Berber women living in Morocco.
Boucherouite means “made from scraps” in Berber language, and this hand-knotted rug was born from the wisdom of recycling by weaving old clothes and leftover fabrics. It represents sustainable craftsmanship created by women in regions where wool is hard to come by, utilizing materials from their surroundings.
The materials and color combinations used vary completely from piece to piece, and the pop and free-spirited color sense resembles modern art.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
