This is a hand-knotted Persian rug from Akhavan Workshop, meticulously woven by skilled artisans in the Nain region of Iran.
Nain is globally renowned as a production area for Persian rugs, characterized by its delicate and elegant designs.
This piece is of the grade known as '9LA', woven with nine threads in the warp. You can enjoy the intricate patterns and refined finish unique to Nain.
Primarily made of wool, with silk interwoven in the highlighted patterns, the Nain rugs exhibit a delicate luster and three-dimensionality depending on the light.
With an ivory base, the varying shades of navy blue and light blue accentuate the diamond patterns, while brown and maroon add accents throughout, creating a bright yet deep and elegant color scheme.
The design features a traditional motif known as “Joshaghan”. It is one of the ancient traditional patterns found in Persian rugs. Within the field divided into diamond-shaped grids, various motifs such as petals, stars, crosses, and geometric patterns are carefully woven, creating a design that captivates the viewer with its depth.

Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.

- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
