This is a Persian rug from Isfahan.
Isfahan is located about 340km south of the capital Tehran and was once praised as a city of magnificent culture, referred to as “half the world.”
With an ivory base, it features classic arabesque motifs and elegant flowers woven throughout.

Features of Isfahan Persian Rugs
Isfahan rugs use a type of wool called cork wool, which is soft and fine hair around the neck of lambs, known for its durability and stain resistance.
