This handwoven silk rug is crafted in the Kashmir region, located in the border area of northern India and northeastern Pakistan.
The predominant colors are a smooth blend of beige, orange, and pink, depicting landscapes, plants, and intricately woven flowers.
It is remarkably smooth to the touch, with a beautiful luster that captivates the eye.
This handwoven rug features a pile direction, meaning the color depth varies depending on the laying direction. Therefore, please compare the second and third photos.
While Persian silk handwoven rugs exhibit vibrant colors, those from Kashmir generally have a yellowish hue, evoking a warm, vintage atmosphere.

Maintenance
To maintain good condition for a long time, please pay attention to the following points.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Vacuum gently along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb moisture. Please avoid rubbing.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain color and luster.
