This Persian Gabbeh features a deep green base with colorful square patterns that stand out.

This fine quality piece is made from high-quality Shiraz wool and woven more tightly and finely than usual.

It has just the right amount of springiness when you step on it, and the surface is soft and smooth to the touch. It is about 1.6 cm thick, so you can enjoy a sense of stability and comfort when you lay it on the floor.

The rug is woven with sheep, a symbol of wealth, and the tree of life, a symbol of health and longevity, giving it the warmth and playfulness that is characteristic of Gabbeh.

The shades of green complement the accent colors of red, yellow, and blue, brightening up the space.

Features of Persian Gabbeh

Persian Gabbeh is a traditional rug woven by nomads living in southwestern Iran, characterized by its thickness and a fluffy texture reminiscent of petting sheep. It uses high-quality wool, making it soft and cushioned, providing comfort year-round as it is warm in winter and cool in summer.

What is Fine?

Fine is the highest quality Gabbeh created by the excellent weavers of the Qashqai tribe. It is characterized by a higher density than regular Gabbeh, featuring intricate designs due to its fine, high-density weave.

Meaning of Patterns

Square: Represents a "window", symbolizing a wish for happiness to enter.

Deer, Goat (Sheep): Considered a treasure that supports nomadic life, symbolizing a life without hardship.

Tree of Life: Symbolizes wishes for family longevity and health, inspired by its growth towards the sky.

Camel: An animal that carries nomadic supplies, symbolizing "success" that brings a rich life in new lands.

Pomegranate: A very popular fruit in Persia, symbolizing prosperity of descendants due to its abundance of seeds.
