カシミール地方で織られた、シルクの手織り絨毯です。
長い画面を格子で区切り、その一つひとつに花咲く木や草花を描いた庭園文様。区画ごとに地色や構図が少しずつ異なり、端から端まで眺めて楽しめるランナーです。
カシミールの絨毯づくりは、「タリム」と呼ばれる、色と結び目を記号で書き表した図案を読み上げながら織り進めます。
くすんだオリーブやキャメル、紺を基調にしたヴィンテージライクな色合いに、細かな織り目とシルクの艶が重なって上品な光沢を放ちます。廊下や細長いスペースにおすすめです。

Kashmir silk rugs are hand-knotted rugs made in the Kashmir region near the border of northern India and northeastern Pakistan. They are characterized by a warm, vintage-like atmosphere.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
