A Persian rug of wool and silk woven in Nain.
The bright yellow field makes a striking impression. The border is not a single color but combines ivory and light brown, half and half.
Silk is used in the white parts of the pattern, making the whole piece look even brighter and more vibrant.
Approx. 61cm x 88cm is a common entryway rug size, and it fits just right at the spot where you step up after taking off your shoes.
At approx. 1.2cm thick, it feels comfortable under shoeless feet.
Features of Nain Persian Rug
Nain Persian rugs are made using soft wool, with patterns outlined in silk, creating a three-dimensional effect. The color palette is often based on beige with calm colors like blue, green, and ivory, making it well-suited for Japanese homes.
