Kashkuri is a type of high-quality gabbeh (carpet) woven by nomadic people living in Shiraz province of Iran.
This gabbeh is denser in weaving than other gabbehs and uses finer wool. In addition, the pile is shorter, so the fine details of the pattern stand out. Kashkuri gabbeh is known as a high-ranking gabbeh due to its high craftsmanship and quality.
