This is a hand-knotted Persian rug made of silk, woven in Qum, located about 100 kilometers south of Tehran, the capital of Persia.
With a bright pink base, it features a garden motif of trees, birds, ponds, and flowers woven symmetrically.
In arid regions, plants, birds, and water symbolize abundance and paradise, and combined with the pink base, it evokes the arrival of a happy spring.
It has been beautifully finished to be used as a tapestry in your room.
Hand-knotted rugs have a direction of the pile known as 'with nap' and 'against nap', and the appearance of color varies depending on the laying direction.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
