This is a hand-knotted rug made in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
The base color is a deep rose pink.
The silk-like sheen is beautiful, and it has a smooth and pleasant texture.
Hand-knotted rugs have a directionality in the pile, known as 'forward' and 'reverse', which affects how the colors appear depending on the laying direction. Please compare the third and fourth photos to see the difference.

Maintenance
To keep in good condition for a long time, please pay attention to the following points.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the nap and avoid the fringed areas.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the nap with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the color and luster.
