This is a handwoven Persian rug made of silk, crafted in Qom, located approximately 100 kilometers south of the capital of Persia, Tehran.
Woven at the Jeddi Workshop, this piece features a gentle and soft cream green framework. The central medallion pattern showcases flowers in delicate shades of pink, purple, and blue, layered beautifully.
The area surrounding the medallion is filled with vines and small flowers, reminiscent of the breath of spring.
The white area between the rug and the fringe is woven in silk, and this particular piece even features lion patterns woven into the flatweave section, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. (See images 4 and 5)
Handwoven rugs have a directionality in the pile, known as 'with the nap' and 'against the nap.' The appearance of color can change depending on the direction in which the rug is laid, so please compare images 2 and 3 for a better understanding.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
