This is a hand-knotted wool rug woven in Kashan, one of the five major Persian rug production areas.
With a deep red base, the intricate “Herati pattern” combines diamonds, small flowers, and leaves that resemble fish. The ivory medallion placed in the center adds a nice contrast to the orderly patterns.
The surrounding deep navy border is also intricately woven with floral patterns, enhancing the calm base color.
The rhythm created by the fine patterns is pleasant and never tiresome to look at. When laid down, it tightens the space, and the texture of the wool deepens with use.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
