A wool Persian rug woven in Qum.
Qum is known for silk rugs, which makes this wool piece a rare find; its soft texture and warm colors are its charm.
A red border frames the blue-gray corners and the ivory field.
Flowers overflowing from vases are drawn in the corners, and small flowers line the narrow innermost and outermost borders.
Each motif is carefully outlined in yellow and brown, showing fine handwork.
With a thickness of approx. 1.2cm, it feels firm underfoot.
About the size of 1.5 tatami mats, it fits neatly in front of a 2- to 3-seat sofa when the long side runs along the sofa.
