This hand-knotted Persian rug, made of silk, is crafted in Qum, located about 100 kilometers south of the Persian capital Tehran.
Featuring an elegant purple base, it is a stunning piece that captivates with its contrast against yellow.
At the center, a floral medallion is depicted, surrounded by a vibrant array of beautiful flowers.
Upon closer inspection, you will find woven animals such as the guardians of Persepolis, elephants, deer, and caracals, adding a narrative quality while imparting a luxurious and refined impression.
Hand-knotted rugs possess the characteristics of "pile up" and "pile down," where the direction of the pile affects the color intensity depending on how the rug is laid. Please compare the second and third photos.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
