This rug is a Persian rug hand-knotted by skilled artisans in a workshop in Tabriz.
Tabriz is a major city in northwestern Iran and serves as the capital of East Azerbaijan Province.
This rug features an elegant and beautiful design.
The material used is high-quality cork wool, soft and luxurious, sourced from lambs.
Additionally, white silk is woven around the patterns to enhance the intricate designs.
The design incorporates traditional Persian rug motifs inspired by a fish known as “Mahi,” with delicate floral patterns woven not only in the center of the rug but also in the fringe and white areas.
Features of Persian Rug from Tabriz
Tabriz rugs are characterized by their strong and dense weaving, as most weavers are men. This makes them very durable and resistant to marks, even when heavy furniture is placed on them. With high durability, they can be safely used in areas with friction or load, such as under dining tables or where furniture is arranged.

Maintenance
Please pay attention to the following points to keep your rug in good condition for a long time.
- Regular vacuuming is sufficient for rug care. Gently vacuum along the pile and avoid the fringes.
- If liquid is spilled, gently blot with a dry cloth to absorb the moisture. Please be careful not to rub.
- Once a year, lightly wipe along the pile with a tightly wrung towel to maintain the luster.
