Masoumi Workshop

Masoumi Workshop is a renowned workshop for rugs produced in Qom, Iran.

In Persian, it is written as "فرش سید علی معصومیFarsh Seyyed Ali Masoumi" (translated: Seyyed Ali Masoumi Hand-knotted Rug).

Masoumi Workshop is located in the city of Qom in central Iran. Qom is the capital of Qom Province and is counted among the five major production areas of Persian rugs, particularly famous for its luxurious silk rugs.

This workshop was established in the latter half of the 20th century, driven by the founder's long-standing passion for rug making.

The founder, Ali Masoumi, was born in 1951 as the second son in a family of rug merchants in Qom. He began his apprenticeship as a rug craftsman in the local bazaar around the age of 13, and through hard work and creativity, he emerged as one of Iran's leading rug designers.

In 1980, he officially established his own rug workshop, giving birth to the name Masoumi Workshop.

Masoumi Workshop has gained high acclaim for its unique design development of "Faded Flowers" patterns and rugs with distinctive color combinations such as ultramarine and green.

Its works are popular not only in Iran but also in Europe, America, and Japan, making it a globally recognized brand.
